Dehydration geotextile containers


"KazEcoSolutions", LLP uses the technology of dehydrating TencateGeotube for intensification of the process of processing of drill cuttings, increasing of effectiveness and reduction of the costs per unit of the utilizing substrate.  This technology allows with high effectiveness to separate water from drill cuttings and oily wastes by the way purifying it.

The geotextile containers are being produced of the high tensile filtrating fabrics which retain the solid particles on the surface of the membranes. Mode of these containers is shown on the scheme:

Filling is being accomplished by the mean of the sludge pumps which create necessary pressure for effective filtration through the pores of geotextile.


In the second stage, water being passed through the fibers of the container provides dehydrating in necessary degree; consequently, decreasing of the volume of the retaining material occurs. Decreasing of the volume allows to repeatedly filling the geotextile containers until the container has reached the design height. Thanks to primary mechanical cleaning on the fibers of the membranes, water flowing out the container may be repeatedly used. The drainage system is being constructed for collection of the filtering liquid phase. A capacity with volume of 5 m³ is being dug at the end of stroke of the drainage liquid for primary collection and the next pumping out of drainage into the reservoir for industrial water or fire readiness. As well as, it is possible to use the received liquid phase in the further process of production of the small size construction wares at preparation of the solution for soaking of a ground foundation stipulated by the technological chart of highway engineering, as well as for dust suppression in the earth roads, access ways and open pits of the common commercial minerals. The flocculants or coagulants are being used for increasing of effectiveness of cleaning from the chemical reagents. After testing of the system, filling of the container and separation of waste water from drill cuttings are being started. In the cold time, the cycles of freezing- defrosting increase effectiveness of dehydrating:  

Upon completion of the process of solid phase, the filled container is being opened by the front-end loader or excavator and its content is being prepared for further processing and utilization.

Oily wastes, in particular, oil sludge, bottom sediments of the reservoirs, the products of back-flow and other wastes containing essential quantity of water are subjected to dehydration by the same way.
